Hoodrats Doing Shenanigans!

My friend, Jessica, and I decided to make this movie because of the many times that girls get distracted by the completely wrong guys, or the jerks and are blindsided not noticing the one who really likes them. This is supposedly supposed to make fun of those kind of situations  however, the most entertaining part of this movie is the action, fight scene that we came up with on the spot. I can say that we had a lot of fun coming up with and filming this project.

Do Your Absolute Best! (rant)

(Heads up! Girls Perspective)I don't know if I can emphasize this enough! Sometimes having a random, spontaneous dates are always fun, but when you haven't really thought about it then the date becomes a disaster! I had the chance of going on a date last night. My date did have a somewhat planned out night. We went to dinner, learned a little ballroom and swing dancing, and saw a movie at the end. However, there were a few things that I noticed that guys should never do on a date. If you listened to my podcast you probably heard some of these problems already.

1. Never say that the date is awesome because you didn't have to pay for it. You should never treat a girl, or anyone else as if they are cheap. It's great to be frugal, but flaunting that in front of your date makes them feel a little worthless.

2. Always be a Gentleman! Even if that means you have to continually open the door for your date. Doing this will make them feel important, loved, and cherished. Yes I am independent and can open the door myself, but it's nice when the guy does it for me.

3. Never Leave Your Date! (Most important advice given) You are on a date for a reason! You want to get to know the person not leave them behind. What does that say when maybe you get married. To me, not very much. This tells me that I may not be cared for and that I will probably be left behind. Stay with your date, if you know them well, so what, continue to get to know them. Even if things don't go well you can still be really good friends. Anyway, that's just me though.

4. Take initiative! Near the end of my date we were getting ready to go see the movie, however my date and his friend decide to go eat some more food. So we wait and decided to talk to some of my friends while waiting, however, if you come back to me and say it's my fault that we haven't left yet, you just wait because I punch you in the face! Absolutely Not! I was waiting for my date and his friend. If you tell me that, then expect to a no as reply the next time you ask me out. For me personally, if you or anyone else wants to leave just say so and if you don't that's totally cool. I'm fine with that, you just have to say so. Dating is all about communication, not blame or fault finding.

So this will be my rant because this is something that I want my dates to do. Take the time to be a gentleman, to be courteous, to never leave your date, and to take initiative. I don't mind doing those kinds of things, and neither should my date.

So readers thanks for reading my rant today, please feel free to leave comments on your thoughts about this subject. I'd love to hear your comments, complaints, or whatever you feel. However if you put something vulgar or very unfriendly I will delete it. Thanks Again!!!

Farm Animals

Another fun idea for a date is takin the opportunity to go to a local pumpkin patch. I enjoyed myself when I went on a "date" with my nephew to our local pumpkin patch. We got I see all the really amazing farm animals and of course because he is a kid it would be fun for us, but it can also be fun we you can go with your significant other or even just a friend. I know that sometimes I act like a child, so things like this are always fun and intriguing to me. It's kind of like the zoo, but cheaper and you always have the opportunity to go to the corn maze.

Halloween

So one thing that would be good for people who are going on a date on Halloween is to have fun! What I mean by fun is be a little random! My friend and I Carlos went on a date and had planned on going to Dixie state colleges homecoming Halloween dance. Of course you need a pretty sweet costume for something like that! We decided to go to the D.I. (Like Goodwill on other states) and we bought our own outfits! We had decided to be a senior citizens. That way it would be less derogatory toward the older population. Anyway, we had so much fun just shopping around and getting dressed up. Even more fun than the dance was. Now I know that this was not on my list of things to do on a date but hey at least it can be added to it because we are looking for fun things to do on dates.

We are Interesting Beings!

UPular by Pogo.

This is one great music video. It reminds me so much of all the wonderful adventures that we can have everyday. I know I'm a slacker at updating my blog, but I was talking with a co-worker of mine and I shared with him how I feel my life is just a little boring. My co-worker told me that I have one of the most interesting lives ever. We all do! He reminded me of where I work, and what I do everyday is interesting.
